Professional profile Robert Hilts
For 27 years Robert has conducted a multidisciplinary art practice utilizing his education in design, craft and architecture. Most important to him were the teachings imparted to him at the School of Craft and Design. Having trained in a wide area of creative arts Robert has been able to engage in extensive and diverse areas, of arts, culture and community development.
Providing culture, situational, architectural and community purposing in development and project management services to municipal arts centers such as the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga he and his team built and designed the construction visual arts studios. Also creating the original programming and resident artist structure, as well as large films, and educational programs. Robert has work on a very tight and also large budgets and similar manner working with national and local governments.
